  1. Hi … I really like the way your site is shaping up. It’s easier to navigate, more intuitive, etc. And the video features are so cool. You get into your topic, passionate, and seem very natural on camera, too. It’s a great direction, I think.

Want to comment on hands. As a general topic, I can’t keep my eyes off of them. As you know, I’m spending time with my Spiritual Mother, my spiritual adapter, Sri Karunamayi, this weekend. Tomorrow we are going with a very small, intimate group of volunteers to meet her when she arrives in the Bay Area, at the hosts home. I can’t tell you how much I need a dose of that fabulous, pure, and healing energy. But, anyway, when you approach Amma to give her something (which you in individual blessings), she will only take it from you when you offer it with the right hand. If you forget and offer it with the left, she’ll correct you. This, from a woman who doesn’t speak much really.

    I wonder why?

  2. Hi Donna,
Thanks for your feedback on blog changes. Changes can make me twitchy…I’m rarely objective, so I’m always happy to get new perspectives.
I also want to thank you for your observations & curiosity concerning this subject. I love that you’re thoughtfulness about these nuances of exchange.
I took the liberty of taking your observation a step further, and published a continuation post. It addresses some theories I have about energetic exchange – and maybe a clue as to why Amma Sri Karunamayi is mindful of right vs left in the act of giving and receiving. As always, thanks for being so hooked in, right on, and far out 🙂
